Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh | April 9, 2025 — A very shocking and disturbing case has come from Varanasi, where a 19-year-old girl was kidnapped and gang-raped by 23 men over a period of seven days. So far, 9 people have been arrested by the police.

The incident happened between March 29 and April 4. The girl told police that she was tricked and taken away by a man. She was then locked in a place and many men sexually assaulted her. After some time, she managed to escape and went to the police. A case was registered immediately.

Police Action

Police have arrested nine men, including the main person who led the crime. Police believe this could be linked to a bigger gang that is involved in trafficking and exploitation. The investigation is still going on, and more people may be caught soon.
